Social Action Committee
The Social Action Committee revolves around one word -- Mitzvah, Hebrew for Commandment, usually defined as a good deed. We strive to make our world a better place.
In the past, we have collected donations for hurricane victims, raised awareness of the genocide conditions in Darfur, prepared Passover baskets for MD Anderson Hospital patients, and participated in an interfaith holiday party for homeless children.
Much has been done, but much more remains to do. Come join us as we attempt to repair our community of humanity whether across the street or across the globe.
