Last night, I and several fellow members of Temple Sinai had the great pleasure of attending the Third Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at the New Hope Presbyterian Church in Katy.  This was presented by the Katy/West Houston Interfaith Clergy Association.

In addition to our own Rabbi Annie, speakers included Rev. Dr. Belinda Windham (New Hope Presbyterian), Mr. John Allen (Church of the Latter Day Saints), Dr. Hamed Ghazali (Houston Quran Academy), Rev. David Hargrave (First Christian Church of Katy), Chaplain Jerry Thomas (Memorial Herman Katy Hospital), and Msgr. Jack Dinkins (Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Community).  The New Hope Choir led those assembled in several lively songs and organist Joseph Painter closed with a fine presentation of J.S. Bach's Fugue in G Minor.

Following the service, we joined those assembled in the fellowship hall for some refreshments and warm discussions.
